Southwest Microwave is pleased to announce a new integration between Southwest Microwave’s INTREPID™ Series II perimeter intrusion detection (PID) systems and AxxonSoft Intellect Enterprise security management software. For Intellect platform users, this solution provides the ability to seamlessly incorporate detection, surveillance and control functions on a unified platform.
Intellect Enterprise is a scalable physical security information management (PSIM) platform that combines intelligent video analytics, universal IP connectivity and event-driven automation capabilities in a single environment. The new INTREPID™ Series II interface, developed by AxxonSoft, lets clients integrate and jointly manage all site security devices (fire alarm, access control, monitoring) with the perimeter system.
The Southwest Microwave / AxxonSoft integration enables comprehensive protection for facilities of all sizes and security requirements, aligning Intellect Enterprise’s robust system surveillance and control capabilities with the feature-rich INTREPID™ Series II suite of intrusion detection sensors: MicroPoint™ II perimeter fence detection system, MicroTrack™ II buried cable detection system and MicroWave 330 digital microwave link.
The INTREPID™ / Intellect integration offers a range of advantages:
- Detection / assessment synergies achieved through joint functioning of perimeter security and video surveillance technologies
- Location of intrusion attempts to within 3m, with visual assessment capabilities through detection zone tie-in to camera presets
- Configuration and management of the INTREPID™ PID system through the Intellect interface
Southwest Microwave offers Third Party Interface (TPI) or Software Development Kit (SDK) documentation to third-party developers at no charge for the INTREPID™ perimeter intrusion detection systems, enabling high-level interface of these solutions to security management systems, assessment technologies (CCTV / DVR) and other custom control applications.
