Southwest Microwave is pleased to announce the availability of two new Relocatable Microwave Sensors: the 316 RDS Rapid Deployment Sensor (TX/RX Link) with 244m (800ft) detection range, and the 385 RDS Rapid Deployment Sensor (Transceiver) with 122m (400ft) detection range.
Southwest Microwave Rapid Deployment Sensors are designed to satisfy temporary perimeter intrusion detection requirements in an outdoor environment. These relocatable microwave sensors provide high probability of detection and low nuisance alarms, and are resistant to rain, fog, wind, dust, falling snow, and temperature extremes. K-Brand frequency maximizes resistance to external radar interference.
State-of-the-art circuitry, a precise detection pattern, and unmatched ease of setup with tampered external controls make RDS sensors ideal for protection of critical mobile assets such as aircraft or vehicles, construction sites or freight yards, visiting VIPs and other temporary high security protection requirements. They can be used at gates, portals or roadway crossings, or to establish a full perimeter of volumetric detection.
RDS sensors are supplied with rugged, universal mounting bracketry and a weatherproof mating connector for power and alarm connection. Tripod, power source and alarm transmitter/receiver are not included. As a low current device, RDS sensors may be powered via batteries or solar power.
