Southwest Microwave is pleased to announce the appointment of Tim Claus as Eastern Regional Manager – Canada.
Tim joined Southwest Microwave in a technical capacity in 2006, delivering a strong background in critical infrastructure and high-value asset protection as a prior Fire Controlman with the United States Navy and Technical Engineer for Diebold USA. Tim has provided field support, commissioning services and technical training classes to Southwest Microwave customers across North America, Asia and the Middle East, and developed system designs for end-users in the defense, energy, industrial and correctional sectors.
Appointed to U.S. Eastern Regional Manager in 2010, Tim has further honed his perimeter security experience interfacing with industry A&Es, consultants, integrators and end-users to address perimeter risk in the Utilities, Industrial and Transportation sectors. In his newest capacity, Tim now expands his availability to clients in Ontario, Quebec, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland and Labrador.
Tim is an active member of the American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS), as well as a frequent speaker for Security industry and vertical market educational programs relating to the protection of infrastructure, assets and personnel at industrial, petrochemical, nuclear, water and electric utility sites.

Julian Romeskie, who has worked with our Canadian customers and end users for more than a decade in both market cultivation and product development roles, will now serve in a consultative capacity to complement Tim’s activities in the region. Julian will also provide special project support to our Canadian Correctional Service and Government customers.
